Movin'On and Engie: "Accelerating the energy transition and infrastructure development."

If decarbonising freight transport is a matter of urgency, then a crucial question needs to be asked: in both the public and private sectors, what energy(s) should be used for what purpose(s)?

The energy revolution is profoundly transforming the business models of multimodal hubs, which have to manage a diversified energy supply.

Investment in energy infrastructure has a long-term impact. Our actions must consider the ROI of infrastructures and the synergies between different forms of mobility, prioritising technological adaptability to guarantee consistency, profitability and energy efficiency.

MOVIN'ON IS DEVELOPING THE ENERGY MODEL CANVAS, WHICH TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PROJECTS AND REGIONS IN ORDER TO :

  • Selecting the most appropriate energy for each use and territory.
  • Align investments with long-term profitability and energy efficiency objectives.
  • Integrating all key factors into energy planning. This integrated approach is crucial to a sustainable energy transition, helping to decarbonise transport and develop new forms of mobility.

Alongside Movin'On and Engie, Alstom, BrestPort, MCA, Michelin, TotalEnergies and Vinci are also involved in this project, presented here by Sylvain Chapon, Strategic Marketing Delegate at Engie and Laurent Siffre, Director of Energy at Movin'On.
