In 2024, Movin'On is renewing its commitment to the ambitious vision set out by the European Green Deal. To tackle the objective of carbon neutrality by 2050, a host of legislative measures must be taken comprising initiatives that address climate, environment, energy, transport, industry and sustainable finance themes, all intimately interconnected.
The European Commission stresses "the need for a holistic and cross-sectoral approach in which all relevant policy areas contribute to the ultimate climate-related goal". As a business-led, multimodal and cross-sectoral ecosystem, Movin'On is perfectly aligned with this strategy.
Therefore, we are proud to announce our collective commitment throughout the year to achieve the goal of low-carbon European land transport. This is in line with the objectives set out in the "Fit for 55" package for 2030 and with the call for "Fossil-Free Transport" from our long-standing institutional partner SLOCAT.
