Young people want the 15-minute city

Young city dwellers want to restore a village atmosphere to neighbourhoods and be able to organise their daily lives within a 15-minute radius from home. Questioned in the latest Movin'On study conducted by Kantar, the young generation says it is ready to make any number of changes to their everyday mobility routine. They expect public and private players to agree to implement mobility solutions that are really useful for them. But young urbanites are still wary of the use that will be made of their personal data by selected operators. They say yes to a smarter and more connected city for a better quality of life, but no to any loss of control over the management of their personal data.

In this episode we welcome:

• Carlos Moreno, Professor at the Sorbonne, at the forefront of the smart city and the concept of the 15-minute city.

• Bassem Hasseh, First Deputy of Johanna Rolland, Mayor of Nantes

• Jacques Priol, President of the Data Publica Observatory and author of "Ne laissez pas Google gérer nos villes!” (Let’s not let Google Run our Cities).
