The “Hemicycle” parliamentary encounters with Movin'On

In spring 2021, Movin'On published a study carried out with Kantar on mobility as seen by the younger generation in a post-COVID world.

One of the findings of this study is that young people have high expectations of public authorities, towns and businesses to act with them and speed things up.

To gain a better understanding of this expectation of public authorities and companies, Movin'On invited the Chairmen of two major companies in its ecosystem, Michelin and Microsoft, to debate with two young people - a student and a young worker - for the audience of the Hemicycle, France’s National Assembly.

The speakers shared what the pandemic has changed in their uses and their vision of mobility. They discussed the best way to innovate for sustainable mobility, and the need to get everyone around the table to move forward more effectively.

Participants:

  • Florent Menegaux, Chairman of Michelin
  • Carlo Purassanta, Chairman of Microsoft France
  • Guillaume Saint, Mobility Expert at Kantar
  • Laureen Calcat, student
  • Quentin Mauduit, Professor of Economics and Social Sciences
